I am in the minority but I would like to have him back - especially if he gets along with Brown, Smart, and Tatum...
I hated seeing him spilling the garbage on those shows but I am not mad at a man who is mad about how he was used when the Team underachieved... And yes he was a chucker but I believe it was because his minutes were cut and he was trying to Prove himself for the next team (in the Reduced minutes he was receiving "not" because he sucked but because two other people were being integrated... Fair or unfair I understand what he was trying to do.. (Secure a bag)
The kid is young but talented... The Team had a disappointing year and he was basically benched...
Had we won something I don't think this would have been a problem, but we didn't... Now the Spin is Tatum is overrated, Brown is a Trouble maker, Rozier is Trash... Hayward is garbage...
I am okay with players being mad and turning over tables after they were embarrassed on the court... That's what I see Terry Doing...
The Kid Cares... Bring him back. I believe he actually wants to be Celtic...I feel he was hurt watching the organizations bend over backward for a man that everyone in the locker room knew didn't want to be there...
Has anyone stopped to think about how the young kids felt about that
Anyway, I am okay with Terry... Would love to have him back just because I think he really cares.
Rozier sulked all yeah and put very little effort in on either end of the floor all last year. I remember him trying in two games. He tried in that Toronto game we won and the GSW game but acted like a baby the rest of the year. Then he threw everyone under the bus at the end of the year. I'll take the way Jaylen Brown handled things every time!
What are you talking about?
I watched the team closely all year. I never saw Rozier complain until his big unleash at the end of the season. Prior to that, as far as i could see, he was sitting on the bench doing what he was told with his mouth shut all season long - just as he has done every other year he's been in Boston.
The guy played hard every night.
I don't understand how people can constantly criticise Rozier, and yet i many cases it's the same people who are always eager to praise Marcus Smart.
Smart has been treated like a golden child from the moment he arrived in Boston. Smart has NEVER had to earn his minutes - he's never played less than 27 MPG his entire career. He's been gifted those minutes from day one, and he rarely every receives criticism despite the fact that he is frequently acting like a brat, getting fines for flopping, getting techs for complaining, getting suspended for getting in to fights, spending time on the injured list because he couldn't hold back from punching things, and losing games by making bonehead decisions at the end of games.
When Smart puts together a string of bad games, he gets a pass. When Smart loses a game with a boneheaded turnover, he gets a pass. When Smart loses a game by forcing a idiotic contested three he gets a pass. When Smart misses 2 games because he got suspended for fighting, he gets a pass. Nobody holds him accountable.
By comparison Terry Rozier has had to fight work his butt off for FOUR YEARS to try and earn any and every minute he's ever played. He's only averaged over 25 MPG once, and just barely at that. He can play great for a stretch of 4 or 5 games, and yet he still gets thrown right back to the end of the bench as soon as he's not needed anymore. He's almost always healthy, he never gets called for technical fouls for arguing, he never gets into fights, he never gets into trouble off the court, he is a smart passer and a steady ball handler (only 9.2% TO Rate and 1.4 TO Per 36 for his career) and one of the better rebounding point guards in the NBA (6.4 Rebounds per 36 for his career) which is a well established effort stat, so he clearly plays hard - and the coaches constantly preach about him being one of the hardest working guys on the team off the court.
Yet despite all this he's constantly shaded and dumped at the end of the bench, while Marcus Smart is constantly gifted all the minutes he can handle no matter how much he screws up.
If you were Rozier, how would you feel about that?
