I have no idea. Just think Langford helps sell tickets for them more than he does for us. Maybe it's Goga and they are taken in salary (Yab) with Langford when they renounce a few cap holds. Dany did move down spots to shed Baynes maybe this was the same thing. All just guessing.

Ps: It would be pie in the face at everyone saying, "they blew it not taking Goga" if they got Goga and shed salary.

How about Towns and Wiggins for Williams, Hayward, Brown and Memphis pick? Would our cap space enable this deal to work cap wise? Sota trying to dump Wiggins. Maybe they regret signing Towns to such a big contract?

Or we could give them the Bucks pick to dump Wiggins, and take back Towns for the above assets assuming we don’t want Wiggins contract.

I do not think a "rebuild" is in the Celtics future.  I think both Ainge and Stevens want to challenge for the Eastern Conference again next year.

Then he would've went all in on Anthony Davis, re-sign Kyrie Irving. Next season would have been win or bust for the Celtics.

Keeping Irving and getting Davis is not the only path to contention when there's approximately 500 players in the NBA.

It was hardly a rebuild as the Celts only spent one season in the lottery.

If the Celts stayed 3 seasons in the lottery, Celts would have gotten another lottery pick in 2015, and would have had 2 lottery picks in 2016.

It’s impossible that Danny is relying on Theis (unsigned and coming off a disappointing season) and Bob at the 5.  Add with their lack of strength/size at the 4 — no chance he doesn’t have a plan. He may or may not already have a deal in place, but he isn’t standing pat. 

Also too much weakness at the 1 unless Branny are thinking that Marcus is ready for the starting pg role.  I seriously doubt that TR is considered their answer at the 1.

I like your plan, but as others I am skeptical of Rozier.  But his run as a starter in 17-18 was impressive and I haven’t forgotten. I question whether Danny is as much of a TR fan as he appears.  I think the coolness of the approach with Terry has to do with trepidation about influencing his value.  I think they try to S&T Terry if possible and if not they have a not too high bar they won’t cross if matching or resigning.
