Shams is now also saying that Vuc will be a priority for us in free agency, which he thinks would be in addition to resigning Rozier.

Not really a fan of this plan. Would much prefer pursuing Russell and some cheaper bigs or trading for Adams.

I hope Danny is on the phone inviting Taco Fall to our summer league squad!

It’s interesting because he didn’t say Vooch was interested in Boston...

Just curious, but what would a MAX deal for Russell actually look like? (Years / $$$)

I think we can offer more and doesn’t have to play with Lebron to boot

Durant.
That would be insane. Stay young next season, get another good pick, and then bring in Durant.

Definitely risky, but Danny loves that.

Maybe KD comes back 15-20lbs heavier and becomes a 5, lol

That would be crazy lol. Think it makes sense too, S&T Hayward to the Warriors for Durant on a supermax.

Durant probably wants to bring in his superfriend Kyrie Irving too :D

Either Vuc or Russel would likely come in at a low enough number that we could sign them without giving up Rozier cap hold. Of course Rozier and Russel are somewhat redundant so not sure that makes a lot of sense. My guess is its either Vuc or trading for Adams (OKC salary dump) and reisgning Rozier.

Russel is getting 27 mil.

That would leave us with ~6-7 mil in space assuming we renounce rozier  and a frontcourt composed of  grant and bob williams.

Not great.

wouldn't kemba be better than D-Lo ?

D-Lo seems like a head case. kemba is hard working uconn hero, i can see him fitting in here well

im surprised people think we'd go after russell instead of kemba

I think it's because Russell would be more attainable. I'd prefer Kemba as well, but he can stay in Charlotte for a super-max.

But I agree....it wouldn't hurt to make him an offer.
