With Al gone and Houston wanting Butler, im thinking Celts will trade Baynes, Yabu, 20th and 22nd pick for Capela...
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

It be a steal for the Celts. A 25 year old rim-protector for a potpourri of nothing.

Sounds good to me.

I would do that in a second. But I don't know how the Rockets would play with Paul, Harden and Butler without a change in the rules that allows a team to play with 3 balls at the same time

Would that give them enough money to sign a max player like Butler?  I’d do it in a heartbeat.
2019 historical draft.  Pick 12

Tim Duncan, Oscar Robertson, Elgin Baylor, Scottie Pippen, Willis Reed, Mitch Richmond, Sam Jones, Dan Majerle, Bob Cousy, Rasheed Wallace, Shawn Kemp, Marcus Camby

Baynes and Yabu....just pick 20, and 51.  Take it or leave it Houston. Capela is not a star.

This article contains two suggested trades btwn the Cs and Houston. Why the heck would the Cs want Chris Paul?

He may not be a star but he would be a big upgrade at center. We're also not exactly in a position right now where we can be picky.

Paul and Harden reportedly loathe each other so Paul may be on the way out therefore they would "only" need 2 balls.

That doesn't answer the question from this morning why they're trying to trade Baynes for salary cap space. We won't need space to acquire Capela.

Well they will need a starting PG right? I don't know that I'd want to trade Hayward just yet though especially for an aging, injury prone star. I would give him one more year to get past that injury.

True. But I doubt anybody takes that CP3 contract. They will have to figure out a way to coexist next season or trade Harden for another superstar or 2 stars and hope they don't end up hating CP3.

Only team to take on Paul contract would be New York..they lost on Zion, lost on Davis, probably lost on Kyrie and Durant..so they are desperate to get a big name player
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin
