 No Kyrie No Davis No problem. Get rid of Championship aspirations this year and things could be worse.

 Tatum and Brown are Blue chip prospects with room for Massive growth with massive ball blockers out of their way.

 Irving, Morris, Rozier all likely gone. That's a staggering 38 shots per game coming To Tatum, Brown, Hayward.

 I'd expect Tatum and Brown to be both hovering around 20ppg next season. 
 Hayward should really be the defacto point guard if Irving and Rozier are gone.

 And on top of that we are either adding 3 first round picks or trading for a veteran than can help. Maybe Capella or Beal or someone else.

 tthe thing that concerns me is Ainges ability to draft useful players in the middle of the first round. Let's stay conservative and say we make a fairly simple trade for Capela.

 Small, Yabu, First for Capela. I would feel pretty good about this team next year.

Capella
Horford
Tatum
Brown
Hayward

Hopefully add a veteran PG like Rubio or Beverly. Also could draft one with two firsts left.

Good post. I agree that next year could be a great year of growth for both Tatum and Brown.

I am worried that Danny will keep Rozier, unfortunately.

I really do not want Rozier as our defacto PG moving forward...I hope he is gone.

id rather have Rubio, Rondo or yes just use Haywarrd as point forward.

Biggest reason to keep Rozier at $10-$12 Mil...is for out going salary in the future---we can't just lose his Salary Slot and Kyrie's slot---cause we are over the cap.

I'm still bullish on us even if Kyrie walks and we miss out on AD. I think we're still in a position that a lot of teams would want to be in. We probably won't be better than the Bucks, Raptors (if Kawhi stays), or Sixers (if Buckets and Harris stay) but I think we will be fun to watch because expectations will be low and teams with low expectations and young players with exciting upside are always fun to watch. Players will always come and go, that's just the way of the NBA.

At 14 I'd want Sekou, Roi, or Hayes, whoever slips.

Rozier staying, under any scenario, is bad. And if we have no Kyrie and no Davis, this team is fighting just to get homecourt in the first round. No thanks.

True dat. The Cs and Bruins have shown just how pointless home court (or home ice) can be.

What a sucky way to end the season. Game 7, at HOME, in front of a hungry, roaring crowd, and they laid a giant egg. SMH

Every year we keep saying how great position we're in. I just don't see in what terms are we in great position if we don't get Davis. After severall years we've built the team, we lose Irving, go back to Tatum, Brown and some old pieces of Hayward as our main players. In terms of some franchise like Kings or Knicks that would be excellent, but I don't buy that.

Nah..Rozier is useless even as salary filler in the future.
no team in their right mind would trade for him..I want no part of his frustrating 1 for performances from three.

Personally, I wouldn't trade for Capella unless it included Horford... allowing him to play for a contender and we get a defensive big that can match up with Giannis, Embiid and Siakam that matches the team's general timeline.

But don't sleep on this draft, moreso than any other year I'm more intrigued by the talent in the teens than the top 10... Bol Bol and Kevin Porter Jr have ceilings higher than most in the top 10... I'd love if we decide to go the young route to snag both

"pretty good", yeah, but not a championship.  I'm fairly confident that Ainge is not going for "pretty good".
