Yes, could easily be a championship team; Toronto is on the edge of a title with a much less talented starting 5.

But we're not getting Durant, so it's irrelevant.

I guess theoretically you could trade Hayward for Durant (if they KNOW Durant is leaving, Hayward would be a nice consolation if Klay resigns), then Smart/Baynes/Yabu/filler for Conley (and I’d assume a future 1st for unloading his contract and expediting the rebuild).

Won’t happen, but I guess possible.


Rather go for AD and see what Hayward can become with a real offseason and training camp under him.
