Al Horford is such a quiet leader of men, on and off the court. From his family to his teammates Al Horford makes his teammates better and is an ambassador for what a NBA stars and Celtics should aspire to be.
After reading some of his replies to press in Spain .His answers were smooth, diplomatic and measured not sidestepped per se.
Al Horford is the model our young guys should emulate an ambassador for the Celtics basketball and a very special man.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
We've been lucky to have Al both on and off the court. Many people talk about the young guys leading us to game 7 of the ECF last year, but if I remember correctly, Al was in that line-up, too, playing incredible basketball on both ends. Hopefully we are able to hold on to him.

I might be wrong, but I feel like Al will be a good soldier if we manage to upgrade our roster.
By that I mean that he could take a pay cut here (for some longer-term security) and will try to win the chip here.

Al was especially phenomenal in the 2016-2017 playoff run. But overall, he's been a good player with the money he's made.

Really wish he at least gets to see an NBA Finals appearance before he calls it quits.

I love Al! Just love him!

Carry on.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

He is the leader of the team, not the pretender who thinks leadership is talk!!

I would not blame him if he chooses to go somewhere else and try to win a championship.

Especially if Danny chooses to stick with Tatum, Smart, and Brown and go young.

I'd love to keep him though...and yes he is an excellent leader on and off the court.

I would be making having Al back a priority if I was DA. He fits whatever else happens with the roster.
