First of all Hayward was exemplary in his recovery season from summer rehab to in season frustrations.
I had trouble watching Hayward as it was so obvious that he was a shell of the player he was from first step to elevation. It was so hard to watch the disjointed Celtics even knowing that his playing time was part of the process of getting back physically and emotionally
It was difficult to watch even knowing that it was critically important and scripted in stone this attempt to get him back by playoffs.
That 2nd operation that threw off his timetable because we saw sporadic flashes and his aggressiveness start to take root .Then the sprained ankle another setback but probably necessary part of recovery process..Those that took a step back during a contract year begrudged the effort of coaches and management in his recovery.Did i hear favoritism or he was white.
It more than likely added to Jalens woes and Tatum step back year.If he was Paul George would anyone have complained and Hayward had no fanbase yet a West Coast All Star that got watched a couple times a year.
The team inconsistency and Kyries poor attempts at leadership  and a simmering Rozier led to a unloved team  by its fan base.

The pursuit of Davis and his drama at trade deadline must have also effected the future trade victims.AND Danny stayed pat while other East Coast teams strengthened themselves.Philly got Butler and Harris,Toronto got Gasol and Danny just waiting on Gordon.
i watched it there was a click moment and Hayward attacked the rim and was aggressive i thought he was back in Indiana but he ran out of time and the length of the Bucks was just too much.He backed off again and added more pressure on Kyrie.

Favoritism for Gordon Hayward because of race
Just google it there are numerous articles  and even Stephan Smith-Really ?
Crowder thought it. I personally don't but i think Rozier is capable of thinking it-being in a contract  year, getting minutes cut and having a bad season.
