Anyone watching the Tyson/Paul fight on Netflix tonight? Hope Mike knocks him out.
I will try to remember to watch and also hope Iron Mike knocks the social media influencer out.

A bit off subject but man has Tyson managed to go from scourge to liked again.

That's where I'm at.  If I remember, I'll watch.  It's pure spectacle and stupidity rather than a legitimate athletic contest, but I'm hoping the old maniac rapist can knock out the annoying schill of overpriced sports drinks.

Why would you think it's pure spectacle?

I don't see any reason why this wouldn't be a real fight, particularly when it counts for the record and all the training he's done for it.

A spectacle? Sure, but a fight it should be.

We'll see. This is not a Roy Jones Jr. out of shape exhibition match.

It's a 58 year old who hasn't boxed in 19 years.  Last time he did fight, he gave up in the sixth round, saying he was too old to fight anymore.

I mean, a year ago I stopped watching tv shows because I got tired of them... and here I am, watching Lioness.

Sure, it's not in his prime, probably not even close to it, but doesn't mean that this can't be a good fight.

All it takes are 2 in shape people willing to hit each other for a boxing match to happen. The only thing in question is the willingness for them to go at each other as they should. But otherwise, it doesn't matter.

We don't need people fighting at the top of their careers for good fights to happen.

Not saying this will be, but dismissing it right away would be wrong to do so.

This was from the weigh-in last night. Apparently Jake stepped on Mike?s toes and then chaos ensued.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Is this fight on tonight?  Am I able to watch with a Netflix subscription?

I haven?t watched boxing (or any fighting) in so long I can?t even recall.  But dang if I?m not a little intrigued by this.

If Jake Paul can?t knock out a guy 30 years older than him he really needs to give it up. Better yet why doesn?t he take it serious and start working his way up to fight guys like Joshua, Fury and Usyk. I guess those guys are all 30 years too young for him  :police:

Yes. It starts tonight at 8pm ET on Netflix. I should say the show starts at 8. Tyson/Paul won't start until 10pm at the earliest and may be pushed back depending on the early fights.

Man, Tyson doesn't look good at all... not even close what he's been showing us in his training videos. No clue if it has something to do with his bad knee or some extremely good video editing.

So far, disappointing fight.

The Serrano fight was awesome though, even though she got robbed.

Kind of like Ben Simmons's shooting videos where you see him knocking down 3 after 3 after 3 in the preseason

Exactly what I expected to happen, happened. You cannot beat Father Time, particularly in a combat sport. I remember watching Iron Mike bite off Evander's ear in 1997 when I was in college...Jake Paul was five months old at the time. The fact that he didn't knock Mike out was kind of embarrassing really, though I think that was probably in the fight clause somewhere - you're going to beat Mike but don't embarrass him

Apparently Jake Paul wants to fight Canelo next...who is definitely an ATG but is also a super middleweight and last fought at 167...Jake Paul tipped the scales at 227 against Mike. I wonder why Jake keeps wanting to fight washed up has beens, grandfathers and smaller guys...any clues  ???

Semi-pro boxer in his prime beats on old man for 16 minutes.  Yawn.
