I'm in the same boat with Rozier. While he's looked pretty good in the summer league, he doesn't do anything that stands out. He's short so he's PG size but not really a PG, and doesn't shoot great. There's a bunch of other guys Danny could have taken that will be better and would have filled their needs.
I'm becoming a fan of Hunter. The way this kid shoots I could see him stepping in right way for some minutes. The kid is instant offense.
I still don't understand why the Celtics drafted Rozier.
Sorry, but I just don't get it.
I think Rozier has shown the exact opposite of what we saw in his pre-draft highlights so far. He's been shooting well and getting to the basket has been poor. Last night was his first good night of getting to the free throw line consistently.
He needs to work on his handles and moves. I think he relied on straight line speed too much in college.
Rozier also needs to work on his offense against on-the-ball defenders. That PG from last night gave him some trouble. Thankfully we have two of the best (Smart and Bradley) for him to practice against.
