Hayward was phenomenal against LA; Blake was in street clothes.
Hayward's versatility could let him play the 2, or even bring the ball up the court with IT, so I don't see him necessarily taking away Jaylen's minutes. (Neither player has to play the 3 really).
The way the league has been trending, you go small.
We have have too many guards as it is, so why not trade some for front court help?
I do love Griffin, and think he'd be great here, but I think Hayward can make the guys around him better in comparison to Blake, who is a great passer, but not necessarily someone that makes the players around him better.
And I have to say, it's amazing that were even debating these two great players. A few years ago we wouldn't even be in the conversation about free agents of their caliber. Plus Fultz and next year's Brooklyn pick? Great time to be a C's fan!!
