If you don't know what we should do with Wiggins.
Start him at power forward. He's better than Amir.

LOL you are out of your mind if you think Wiggins is a power forward.

We just drafted Tatum who can play flex SF/PF.

Not to mention we also have Yabu and Ojeyle.

As others have reiterated, I don't think Wiggins moves the needle at all for us at PF. He is a SG who plays at SF sometimes. Considering his inability to defend or rebound, he would be next to useless in that role for us.

I am not going to sit here and spout some crap about how Jaylen is a better prospect, but it wouldn't shock me in the least to see Jaylen be a main contributor to a championship team before Wiggins. All Wiggins does is score in volume. He can't (or doesn't) pass, can't rebound, and he can't defend for some reason.

So at this point, no I don't think Wiggins is worth Smart and Brown, let alone the Lakers pick also.

Man I hope these young players dont read blogs..

IF Brown played on a bottom 10 team in the league his numbers would be just like Wiggins and folks would consider him great..  But instead he contributes as a rookie on a 50+ Top 5 team in the league and folks say his upside is limited..

Since Wiggins has been in the league - what in the world has he done?  Everyone knows cant defend, meaning if he were here he would be glued almost permantently to the bench. He'd be a Dleague Superstar.. He would be best friends with Mickey..

Start any of our Young players on a 30 win Team (especially next to KAT) and You would have a whole new perpsective about how good our guys are.

He is a better all around offensive player than you are giving him credit for.  he gets to the line a lot. He has improved his shooting every season.  He did manage 4 rebounds and 2.3 assists last year.  He doesn't turn the ball over hardly at all (Crowder is the only rotation player on the C's with a lower TOV% and he has the ball no where near as much as Wiggins).  There is no question he has been a bad defender, but he is 22 on a team surrounded by bad defenders.  I expect to see a jump defensively with him playing next to Butler this year.
The stats I linked were not based on any team defense. These are stats based on players shooting against him. These are players he is guarding. On a team with bad defenders, team were still going after him which speaks volumes. He had one of the best defensive coaches in the league and he couldn't fix his numerous mistakes. Jimmy Butler isn't going to change that.

Managing 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists is actually mediocre for a wing when you consider he averages 37.2 minutes a night. His True Shooting % has remained the same. The only thing that has changed is he went from 13 shots a game to nearly 20. Which is why he is a volume scorer. His True Rebound % is a 6. Jaylene Brown's is already a 9! Wiggins is simply an awful rebounder and passer for a wing.

Wiggins is pretty underrated on this blog. I don't think he can be a star either, but he could average 25 a game next year. That's pretty impressive. Please don't use empty stats crap as an arguement. Minnesota has enough scorers on that team, the fact that Wiggins gets that many shots up speaks volumes in regards to his talent.

Now I wouldn't do the trade because everyone here should know how much I love Brown. They can have Smart though.
Averaging 25 points is meaningless if you have to take a lot of shots to do it. That is not impressive at all. We already have a player that jacks up 19 shots a game. You don't need another one. Especially one as inefficient and brings nothing else to the table like Wiggins.

People just assume as a #1 pick he is a good player. He isn't.

KGLL is nuts, obviously, but how are there FIVE yes votes?

Good heavens, no. When did Wiggins become so valuable? Why are people so desperate for a trade, any trade?

Brown and a potential top 5 pick for Wiggins is nuts. I'd have to think long and hard about giving up one of those, no way both.

Probably when he was 13. The problem is that he hasn't demonstrated superstar abilities through 3 years in the association. I think he'll be a good, not great NBA player with about 5 All Star appearances.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

Put me in the wouldn't trade Brown for Wiggins straight up camp.

I don't really value his 23/4/3 on poor efficiency with bad defense.

Brown has similar upside at this point and will be cheaper in the near future.
