Do you feel the Celtics will make a trade before the trading deadline?

They won't make any trades.
They'll make a very minor trade. Perhaps a deal something that might facilitate a bigger trade for another team.
They'll make a major move like trading away a significant player plus one of the Nets picks.

A genuine question that has been on my mind for at least a month. I was going to go the third option and I won't be surprised if DA manages something right at the deadline. I voted no trade though as it seems likely trading partners are asking too much and DA (and CBS) value assets like AB more than many posters on here do.

Plus, the only player you want to add now is one who significantly improves the team. The players on the Celtics roster are doing a great job, AB is going to return and there is no point replacing same with same. Young seems kind of redundant at the moment but he doesn't add much to a trade either.

I don't think this team can win a championship the way it is and the depth is a worry. I don't know why DA would risk losing valuable assets on a gamble now when patience will have the Celtics even better placed to make a deal and with more young talent next season.

I have thought Young and Mickey could be used to bring in a serviceable big to help with rebounding and fill the void until trades or the overseas young bigs are available. Unless the player comes along under Bradley like Crowder has (which you can't predict) I don't really see the point. Stay put until the right move comes along.
