We are winning and are second place in the East. We'll have two top picks in the next two loaded drafts and we have yet to play at full strength this year. we also have 3 very good Draft and stash players waiting to play next year. We also have a large assortment of other picks down the line. It's a great time to be a Celtics fan!!!! Anyone remember the 90s and how bleak things were. This is a good time!
We were cursed by what happened to Bias and Lewis. Nonetheless, Pitino got us Pierce. Jim O'Brien turned us into a playoff team. We need someone like Brown to become a phenom. Or Marcus Smart might do it. He's still hoisting up a lot of bricks. Maybe it will click at some point.
He said something about needing the off-seasons to be able to improve in areas such as shooting.
Brad gets the injury card if we lose. No Avery is bad enough, but no Olynyk means Zeller or I guess Jordan Mickey might get one last chance. Olynyk was just starting to get in a groove. Sure we need a center, but Amir, Al and Kelly is at least a puncher's chance for wins at a minimum. One couldn't say the same with Humphries, Bass and Sully.
But back to this person's point. The Celtics were usually interesting during the title drought era. I would take some of those seasons over the last Big Three years.
Stevens is a great coach. There will always be room for critique. The three guard stuff seems stupid.
I wonder if Ainge signed Horford to get Durant. If so, we have to accept that's Horford. Maybe Horford should be the one benched. But there's no one to replace him with, as Amir looks spent most of the time.
The great thing about Horford is that he's still pretty good, and at some point he'll only have one or two years to go. We are stuck with him. Maybe he is banged up, but not enough to sit out games.
Isaiah has to be the greatest little guy of all time for offense. Now we just have to clean up, pile up wins and wins. We are now the fifth best NBA team in the overall standings. With all the injuries, Brad can play that card for any suspicious strategies implemented.
