Great game Jae, way to go buddy

0-4, not even a basket.

I guess we don't deserve to boo him

Lol I was thinking the same thing. You can't do that kind of stuff and then respond like this.

So you do you think he would come out and bust his butt for the fans that just disrespected him days before? How do you know he just did not feel like giving that extra push tonight.

To be fair he's paid millions of dollars a year to produce and that game tonight he sucked something awful. If fans cant sink the boot in after that performance then they never can.

how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck was chris bosh?

Yeah. I do.

did the fans really disrespect him that much? No one booed him. No one cheered Hayward during the game, and I was at the game and didn't notice any cheers for Hayward so if this was anything more than imagined than it was minuscule

He had a bad game, I just hope he was not trying to punish the fans by doggin it.   If this is the case, then he needs to go and we put in Brown.  We are not getting past CLE barring a major deal.

He just had a bad game. Happens to all players from time to time.

Not worried about Jae Crowder in the least.

Crowder should have been p---ed - we all should be....almost never should hometown fans cheer for the other teams' players...that was bullEdited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.

Uh...yes? He makes millions of dollars and the expectations are that he should at least act like a professional and not dog games because hes a sensitive little butterfly.

If Hayward is a scrub who is averaging 22.1 points per game , shooting 46% , getting the the line 7 times per game!!!! 7!!, shooting 37 from three,  6 rebounds and almost 4 asissts per game
with a per of 22.61
These are, in fact, a fairly modest numbers for a player who's on a team where the second best offensive player is (the currently injured) George Hill.

Maybe he will learn the hard way.

Now Mr. Crowder knows why we're looking at Hayward...Consistency.

As much as I love Gordon Hayward and his game, his acquisition wouldn't move the needle much for BOS in a 7 game series with CLE.

LeBron would run roughshod over him - and AGAIN I love Hayward.

Can Hayward play SG? If THAT, then what about AB?

As for the clip that JSD just posted - "IT" is probably there - the RACE card. It is an UNFORTUNATE thing, though, BUT in THIS case it doesn't apply I believe.

I've seen it first hand since I was a teenager - "Man, why do you like BOSTON?" (My black friends growing up).

Even in my Navy days - just a few years ago on my last ship (Nimitz) before I retired I came across a young sailor in his mid 20s. He was a sharp and intelligent fellow and he was one of the better sailors in a good division of many. He knew I loved The Boston Celtics but he mentioned to me that his young sister had a negative incident in BOS and he believed that it was Race-related.

I told him that while BOS has an unfair Racial tone towards it such an incident with his sister was more than likely isolated and likely to happen in ANY city in America.

With all this being said I believe we should let Jae move on. He's a fine player who I believe is getting better, has been praised by Phil Jackson as a player he missed out on AND he's a Boston Celtic - NOT Gordon Hayward.

I stand behind Jae.

Except it happens right after he goes off on twitter. Just bad timing, and he has egg on his face for one night. It's a bit of Karma really. He got his panties in a bunch over a few fans cheering for an other player so much that three hours later he was so p---ed he crapped on them on social media.

I'm not saying that he shouldn't have been ticked off a bit, but he went too far. Actions, not words (unless he goes into the crowd). He played well that night, but the twitter thing he follows it up with a really bad shooting night. Again, bad timing. And Coach didn't like his off court antics, theres no room for it.

I have never been a fan of players mouthing off with complaints. I also despise Twitter, Facebook, Insta-whatever, SnapClap, on & on.

Having said that, I don't blame Crowder at all for being upset. This guy has been nothing but a positive since he got here. He plays hard and he cares. He also seems to appreciate being a Celtic. I would have preferred he reacted with a short quote to reporters after the game and left stupid Twitter out of it.

Boston fans are second to none, but let's not turn into Philly fans who fight with our own.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce
