Isaiah
Butler
Crowder
Durant
Horford

Easily the best team in the East...and quite possibly the Association.
With Brad in charge it's a top 3 team, arguably the best team in the league. Only main concern is Horford declining and the money he'll want.

I think we'd be better off going for Ibaka or even Dwight for the same money.

Ibaka's under contract for another year, so that would have to wait. Dwight would also cost more than Horford; he's a 10 year vet.
Having a CENTER with legit size and the best skill in the league is really the golden ticket. Cousins and the Kings are done and its prob gonna get worse. If I'm Durant and I see Cousins go to the Celts for just a draft pick ( we absorb his contract for a TE...i think...tp who can tell me the answer) then I would sign there. The West has more elite competition and with Durant and Cousins we would be in the Finals prob every year. And Durant can always say to Westbrook and Ibaka to come to Boston.

Cousins is 280lbs, 7'6'' wingspan, 9'5'' standing reach.....that's BEAST then add the skill and that they're no bigs like him. We would have a huge advantage over every team in the league before we even step on the court.

After firing Karl it's unlikely that Cousins is moved unless we get the #1 or #2 pick.

I don't think Cousins is realistic to be honest.

Unfortunately, me too.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Amir+pick for Ibaka works.

Would almost be our better option than signing Horford or Dwight long term at their age.

If Durant leaves, I still maintain that it makes much more sense to dump Ibaka and Westbrook for as much as you can get before they leave you, too, especially Westbrook who seems primed to go home to LA. So, yeah, I like that option, at least if they still won't trade Cousins.

What pick would they want, though? Are you giving up this year's Brooklyn pick for him - obviously not 1 or 2, but from 3 on?
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Oh hell no, I'd give them our own pick+ a future lottery protected pick or something. Ibaka ain't happy there and will probably walk which they know.
I think AJ+2016 C's pick +2018 C's pick top 14 protected or something.
They can't ask for much more on an expiring deal.
We'd only do it of Durant+Butler were already here.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

I am not sure which three but I think three names is the target. Despite the competition that will be out there, DA has a lot to offer and Boston is an attractive basketball destination. For me Durant is the ideal first piece. Best available talent and others will follow.

They'd love Bradley in OKC.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

I really think Horford is a bit overrated. Sure, he is a quality big, better than what we have. But is he a franchise changer?

He will not improve anymore, I think we can agree on that. For the money he is probably asking, is he worth signing? I think he is not. Within a few years his playing time will decrease because of age. Even though he hasn't been relying on athleticism he will get slower, with less ups. His rebounding numbers aren't impressing as it is, and those will probably only get down.

The star of Atlanta is Paul Millsap, I think anyone will agree. What has Horford brought the Hawks true the years? Last season was his best result, and one can argue that he was the 3th or 4th best player of their season. Teague and Millsap were the stars, Korver was shooting out of his mind.

I think Horford is a third best player on a class team. He was third behind Joe Johnson and Josh Smith in 2008, and he is third now behind Millsap and Teague.

Third on a team that finished with the same record as ours. Is that worth throwing a 20 million+ offer to? Will he really make us that much better? He is a solid shooting big man, and we could really use that, but to me Horford is not the solution.

But maybe I will admit I'm very wrong about him after the playoff series. We (and Danny) have at least 4 games to see If Horford is really that good.

Cousins attitude problem has decreased his trade value. Karl wanted to get fired and the second he signed his contract I thought it was pretty obvious......snake in the grass, that's literally what everyone calls him.
Cousins has 2 years left on his deal after this year and could be a liability, so I believe there is a case for not giving the first or second pick to the Kings for him.

I sorta like you so I'm gonna give you advice. You need to see the whole picture, and look at it through the Kings organization. They need to get rid of Cousins bc their organization literally has no chance at re-signing him or attracting free agents, and the whole situation is getting worse. IMO if we end up with the 3rd pick we could get him, we may need to throw future picks or something but I could see it getting done.

I was on record against the Cavs doing the Love trade when they could have waited a year and signed him. If we gave the first or second pick for Cousins he could screw us in the end, and thats leverage with the kings. IMO CBS and Cousins would be great and Cousins would dominate the East, add Durant and we win many titles.
