First of all Geo123>> My first was published before Noah got injured. I would never trade for an injured player, who might never be the same again, but I guess you didn't read the date on my post.
Second of all Granath>> We will never get to see if this trade happen, as it will not make sense since Noah is now injured and even the most optimistic supporter think that he will reach his old level, but I will still tell you why I at that time liked the trade.
I believe that both Amir and Sullinger are bad fit for Stevens System. They are both decent players, but they are not future building blocks as they are not agile enough for Stevens system. I don't see them as defensive monsters either, but they are both decent players, even though I think Amir is hugely overpaid.
I think that Noah, if he wasn't injured, would still have had a huge impact, and would have been a starter and a profile on our team. I think the reason that his numbers are worse now, than they used to be, is because he has been played in a system that he is not fit to play. It wouldn't be the first a player would flourish in a new system. But now we will never know!
