Thoughts?

No.

This team is not in dire need of a great offensive rebounder who is not very good at much else.  This team needs another #1 or #1b scoring option, preferably at the wing, but anywhere would suffice.

Defensively the team is solid, and if Sully comes back in shape with his mind right he is a superior PF vs. someone like Thompson.

I will pass.

No, only reason why his stock is anywhere near a 10mill per is because he plays with Lebron. Can argue if Sullinger was on the Cavs he'd be Max money. If Mozgov was a free agent, teams would pay him max money after this offseason, Lebron has made a lot of players a lot of money, Phil PRESSEY is comparable to Mario Chalmers, I'm sure Chalmers contract is quite nice compared to PRESSEY.

Rather draft Montrezl Harrel with a 2nd rounder for 1mill per 360 days of the year over Thompson on this celtics roster.

Phil Pressey is comparable to Mario Chalmers..what?

They are completely different players...

Chalmers has reasonable size for a PG (not great, but reasonable), is an average passer and ball handler, and is a very good outside shooter.

Pressey is under 6 foot, is an excellent passer and ball handler, and is a terrible outside shooter.

About the only thing those guys have in common is that they are both solid defensive players for their size, but otherwise I have no idea how you came up with that comparison.  It's kind like saying DeAndre Jordan and Marc Gasol are comparable players.

His point is that Chalmers and Pressey but suck, but CHalmers was a role player on a King James title team so he gets more credit.   The premise works.   It's like... nobody would have any idea who Matthew Dellavedova was if that scrub wasn't playing ball with LeBron.   It's why we remember career backup role players like Steve Kerr (though Kerr was an incredible shooter).  Playing on the big stage with superstars heightens the perception of your worth.

The comparison unfair to Chalmers, though.  Pressey is hot garbage.  He shouldn't be in the NBA.  I'm not even sure Pressey deserves to be in the D-League.  If that bum is still on Boston next season, we have a problem.    At least Chalmers can play a little basketball.  Phil Pressey is barely worthy of being a ballboy.
