Good points. The truth.

No to Rondo. I thought he would change this season but its the same crap again. Mediocre, lazy, soft defense and  his jump shot has not really improved. Near triple doubles for him,  team assist numbers suffer, team defense suffers and losses keep piling up

Rondo is a less than average point guard at this point in his career.

and you are just an annoying troll at this point in your life

your a clown. So people can't have opinions here?

Someone states they don't like Rondo's game or don't think he fits with this lineup or even think it's best that he gets traded and the Celts go another direction, and they are trolls?

Does everyone have to think like you??

Wow this actually makes sense, now.

He should have only one account...definitely breaking rules to have more than one.

Yup it's me. I have 100 different accounts for the purpose to attack and destroy Rondo, where somehow i'm able to post several replys at the around the same time using my mobile phone

Why don't you ask the moderators to investigate this matter?

Or Is it just too hard for you to believe that not everyone is a Rondo fan boy like you?

Yes to Rondo. The ball hasn't been sticking with him as much this year as it has in the past. He is rebounding at a high level as well.

He isn't shooting that great to start but you have to remember he didn't play in pre-season so it will take time for him to get his shooting back to his career numbers. I also expect more drives to the basket once he has gotten into the swing of things.

Although we did win against the Bulls without him, I think it is too simple to just say we play better without Rondo. The Bulls were not defending the way they have in the past and we got too many open looks from it, I believe we would have gotten even more open looks with Rondo.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion on Rondo, if you prefer a scoring pg over a pass first pg Rondo isn't for you. If you would prefer a point guard not have the ball for a lot of the game Rondo is not for you.

However I think the opinion of general managers, coaches and other players around the league agree much more with the pro side of the Rondo argument.

Let's try to be respectful of other opinions and not turn to calling each other trolls or d bags.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

LOL I actually DO believe that you, triboy, would have multiple accounts just to post on Rondo. Seems a bit obsessive, but hey whatever trips your trigger as they say.

And get it right. I'm a CELTICS Fanboy. I've found the good in mostly every player that's worn Green.

And back to the account thing - why would you change your name and have multiple accounts? Why can't you just log in as Triboy on your mobile?

BC i do, you fool lol. I don't have multiple accounts

Why don't you ask the moderators to investigate  this matter then? If i'm lying i won't comeback to this forum. But if i'm not, will you never comeback? The accusations are starting to get annoying

Like i stated, i guess its too hard or too much for you to believe that multiple Celtic fans are not fans of Rondo's game and want to move fwd without him.

Triboy, I'd never stay away from this Blog for someone like you. I've had way too much fun posting about my C's and interacting with fans all over the world.

You are not worth it. If the mods deem you worthy enough, they'll investigate you. I doubt that they will.

I see now it's turned personal?

So, the other posters who accused you of multiple accounts I guess didn't catch your eye, huh?

So, what was it? Was it my discussions of your inane Kevin Love dislike back when it was thought he was coming to BOS? Or was it something else?

What has given you Internet Courage with me all of a sudden? I'm sure you are not like this in real life.

Both of you stop it immediately, only warning. I'm going to review this thread beyond this but anything further and you'll have a vacation for sure. Also my Bears suck right now so I wouldn't push it.

Edit: and the game got worse and my warning wasn't heeded k.

To be completely honest, I do think asking whether or not Rajon Rondo makes this team better is a legitimate question.

This team played great basketball against the Bulls the other day without him.  The team has certainly been able to step up and win games in his absence before.  People like to point at the better record without him in the past couple of seasons.  Personally, I discount the 2013-2014 season as it was a lost season anyway by the time he returned, and Rondo's focus clearly seemed to be on rehabbing his knee and getting back into shape.

2013 is a different story.  He was hands down our best player to start the season, but the team actually had a better record after he went down with his knee injury.  There were a lot of other factors involved, as many have pointed out, but still, this reality didn't look good for Rondo.

The thing to me, though, about Rondo is that he has an extra gear that no one else on this roster (and very few players in the league as a whole, for that matter) has.  He has shown the ability to play like a superstar when it's needed the most in the playoffs and in big regular season games.

The above, to me, is way more valuable of an asset than many are giving it credit for.  He may not bring his A game every game, but when he does bring it, his A game rivals any of the top dozen or so players in the league.

As good as this team looked the other night without Rondo in that great win over the Bulls, I would hate to see this team enter a playoff series without the services of Rajon Rondo.  He's a difference maker, pure and simple.  As much as I like Kelly Olynyk, Jared Sullinger, Jeff Green, and Avery Bradley, they aren't difference makers in the way that Rajon Rondo is.

I've grown to accept that there are always going to be fans (or anti-fans) who make a game out of pointing out the flaws of Rajon Rondo and putting them under a microscope.  In some ways that's fine.  That's the kind of treatment top players inevitably get.  It comes with the territory.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Rondo handles all of this going forward.  I'm going to bet on him to succeed and further cement his Celtics legacy as one of the greats of this franchise over the latter half of his career.

We shall see.
