This Bradley hate is crazy and especially when compared to Beal. I like Beal and think he could be really good but am not sold that he is overwhelmingly better then Bradley. The only thing Beal does extraordinarily better then Bradley right now is handle the ball. Lets delve into some stats. In 34.7 mpg Beal averaged 17.1 ppg on and shot 41.9 % including 40.2 % on 3's and 79% from the line. Bradley in 30.9 mpg averaged 14.9 ppg on 43.8 % including 39.5% on 3's and 80% from the line. Bradley averaged 3.8 boards to Beal's 3.7 and 1.06 steals to Beal's .98. Where Beal gets Bradley is his 3.3. assist and his 1.9 a/t ratio. Bradley averaged 1.4 assists and had 0.9 a/t ratio. I also consider Bradley the superior on ball defender. Now lets go to everyone's biggest issue with Bradley which is durability. Not counting his rookie year when he wasn't always active Bradley has played in 174 out of 230 possible games or 75 % of possible games. Beal in his 2 years has had an injury each year and has played in 129 of 164 possible games or 78% of total games. Yes I realize Beal is a couple years younger but also consider Bradley missed an entire off-season of development due to shoulder surgery. Beal also had a superior supporting cast around him last year. All I'm trying to say is anointing Beal a perennial all-star while calling Bradley garbage is very pre-mature. Agree with a lot of what you said.
I do think Bradley Beal has far better control and better finishing than most shooting guards at his age, except for Dion Waiters.
Unfortunately, his defense is average to pretty bad. I think Bradley is very underrated, and if given time over FA, I think he would've gotten at least 9 million. A 23 year old two time All Defense type of player who can shoot the 3 pretty well, is going to at least get overpaid due to the potential.
