the only things I don't like about AB are his injuries and his pulling up and taking a 17 ft jumper with 23 secs. on the clock. it's such a bad shot, and what makes it worse is he was hitting most of 'em. so now there's no reason for him to stop taking them.

a few things i'm hoping for, less jacking of shots so early in clock and a step up in defense
i understand stevens wanted him to pull back but with smart on the team now can you imagine an opposing sg facing bradley playing at 80% of his defensive intensity then he needs a break and smart comes in  :o
i don't need avery's full court pressure all the time but he can disrupt the opponents shot clock so well if he picks up man at half court
all defensive first team
14 ppg, 2 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 steals
I think we are going to see lower rebound numbers for all the guards, more outlet passing and running this year.  I know stevens is considered a half court coach but this team is made to run and have wing defensive pressure.  We don't need a great shot blocker as we can put out rondo, ab, smart, green and wallace.  Just a big body should work fine in the paint.  ;)

  • Celtic's only raise championship Banners
(This is speculation and rumors)
My college roommate works for bleacher report. He says that they were all surprised and thought it was bad signing when Bradley got the deal, so they asked around or someone informed them

I'm not sure if I believe that one.  Bleacher Report has sources?

They're more reputable than you might think since being part of Turner. I know they do have Ethan Skolnick working for them and he's the Heat's best beat writer .

Yea they have some good writers.

I'd much rather see 3-4 assists per game out of him than rebounds, hes already severely undersized I don't want him focusing on rebounding.
You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into.

Totally agree.

I think Bradley Beal is going to tear it up this season.

It is not exactly going out on limb to say Bradley Beal is going to have a great year, he is a stud! Too bad the C's have Avery Bradley who is terrible in comparison particularly since he typically only plays 1/2 the season, if you are lucky, due to injury. Hopefully some team gets desperate and trades for Avery's terrible contract and the C's can use that money on players who actually play instead of sitting in the trainer's room.

The Avery/Rondo/Smart and Beal/Wall rivalry is one that'll  be great tv for the next 5 years.

Especially if Avery, Rondo, and Smart are playing on the same team ;)

I have a feeling the injuries are behind him now. He's had the double shoulder, double ankle surgeries done and is due for a season of good health and productivity. Plus, the challenge coming from Smart and Young, plus the full return of Rajon, will push him to be at his best.

If he can make a jump in ball handling that would be gravy.

Because nothing screams "good health" like a history of multiple ankle and shoulder surgeries.  ::)

I'm a big Ray Allen fan and I don't think that what Jesus Shuttlesworth #20 wrote that out of this world. Bradley Beal will be an all star. Maybe as fast as next year.
Avery Bradley is nothing special. I don't want him to be my starting shooting guard (If I'm the GM), beacause his undersized and can't score effectively, injury history is not good either. He's fragile because his undersized. He's a good defensive specialist. He's contract is like George Hill's. Nobody will trade for him if he doesn't pan out.

One thing I'm learning around here.  Celtics fans really try to convince themselves that things aren't as bad as they seem ::)
