In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

It'll be interesting to see if Kevin Love turns up in another prospective city this weekend.

I had the same thought, although one would hope that he (or his agent) will try to avoid creating a LeBron-esque sideshow.

That'd make so many people angry

It would make me angry!...lol

Look, I would LOVE to see Love in Beantown.

However, there are 29 other teams in the league we are competing against looking to improve.

If we get Love, AWESOME!!

If not, then we shouldn't despair and DA should just swing for the fences to land another all-star.

There's got to be an alternative move out there, in case the Love thing doesn't pan out.

And, with or without Love, why wouldn't Melo still be a possibility?

He reportedly likes Rondo and if the two of them team up, you know there will be a 3rd star to join the team (whether it's this summer, by the trade deadline or summer of 2015.)

We have so many assets to offer New York in a Melo S/T deal.

Next summer, if you're Lamarcus Aldridge, Kevin Love or Marc Gasol and are a free agent, doesn't Boston look like an appealing destination with Rondo and Melo? I would think so
Its only appealing if we have the money to pay them.  And even then, their current teams can offer more.  So, in a nutshell, don't get ur hopes up.

Sounds to me like the Celts have more than enough money.
