I thought that at least one of AB or green or bass would have been moved. Surprised we did nothing.
I think that moving any of those two for second-rounders and cap relief is a horrible deal, and judging by what went on at the DL, it doesn't seem like anything else was on the table.
So if Avery walks at the end of the season we have nothing to show for developing him all these years?
Spencer Hawes got a pair of 2nd rounders. He stinks but he's probably more valuable league wide than Avery.
How can Bradley walk at the end of the season, he is a restricted free agent?
Another team offers more for him than we do.
We don't match that offer. He walks.
How do you think?
I don't get the terminology I guess. I would use the word "walking" to refer to a person walking away from a team and signing elsewhere. In restricted free agency if someone signs somewhere else and the Celtics allow them to leave, that's the Celtics choice to let that player go, that player doesn't have the ability to walk out on the Celtics.
I guess, IMO, you just made it seem like the Celtics didn't have a choice in the matter of retaining Bradley.
