gotta point out that it's a little scary to see a crawford 'sell high' thread. ouch.

Good point , and while we here see improvement, let's not forget that to get him from washington the celtics gave up Collins and barbosa, who was injured. Basically the equivalent of a bag ofballs.

If the celtics can get anything for Crawford they should move him as soon as possible. Honestly, I don't think Crawford is about to gain much more court vision or patience than he has now.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Think we could get Chicago's first round pick this year for him?

They are going to need to fill that void.

He's essentially a free agent at the end of this year and the Bulls aren't going to pay him much to keep him considering he'd probably force them to pay the repeater tax. He's not the guy who will take the Bulls over the top. Basically, no, they're not going to surrender a 2014 1st rounder for a rental of Jordan Crawford when that doesn't appreciably increase their chances of winning a championship.

A team like Miami or San Antonio might be more willing to do so, but we have no idea how well the Bulls will finish this year, so their pick is probably going to be more valuable.

If we could get a 1st for Crawford that would be good value for us but don't we already have enough draft picks?  Unless we are able to package multiple picks in trades, I don't see more picks as valuable unless the pick is a lock for top 3 or something like that.

Picks are valuable and you can never have too many.

If you have too many, package it to climb up to potentially get a better player. Also remember 30-40 percent of picks are out of the nba after their initial contracts. So the more you pick, the better chance one or two are good to stay vs drafting a dud like melo
