please tell me i heard true. also that its a lose money clause not a gain money.
i read that as hitting the clause would be part of the $36 million total. so he might make less if he doesnt rebound more. which would be good as i maintain we bid against our-self's and gave him the 4th year despite also giving him $1.25-$2.50 million more per year then any other team would/could have offered

Incentive clauses are pretty common in professional sports. The NFL, in particular, is chock full of 'em.They're just not brought up very often.
