Mikki Moore logged 17 minutes a game for the Warriors at the end of 11-12 while they were trying to hold on to their draft pick.
That's 2 minutes less per game than he logged on the 2008-2009 playoff-bound Celtics team. And no, he wasn't as horrible as you're making him out to be.

So why are fans all excited over this team?  Do they not understand we can't win it with this team?
It's a long season. It's okay to enjoy a few wins, see the young'uns making some strides in their development, and dream a little dream.

It's a long season. Winter will set in. The days will grow cold and short. Rookies will wear down. Injuries will start to mount. The losing will start soon enough.

But right now, it's the Indian Summer of the Celtic's season. Enjoy it while you can.

I take it you didn't watch any of those Warriors games:

They signed him that April, after he'd been out of the NBA since 2010, and started playing him for significant minutes almost immediately. And then let him walk once they'd lost all but one of those games.

The fact that he played similar minutes on the Celtics is apples to chainsaws.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Twenty-nine NBA teams aren't winning the title this year...

Correct. However the goal is to be one of the half dozen team with a real chance to be the last team standing.

Not getting excited because I believe that we're going to win it all.

Getting excited because BS has the team playing an uptempo, team-centric style of basketball. The team is ridiculously fun to watch, and dare I say, more so then the past couple of seasons.

Also getting excited to see the stories unfold. The rooks stepping up, Crash embracing his role off the bench, J-Craw's maturity, AB and Lee's return to form.

These guys play hard and are getting some early success and developing a winning mentality and it's hard not to buy into that.

Moore was bad. So bad that it was a problem if he was on the court instead of Scal in the playoffs that year.
