NBA doesn't even use traditional centers anymore.  Look at Miami.  I think Olynyk might get a shot at the 5.  Or maybe Melo surprises.  Sully wold be quite undersized for the position.  But oh well, we plan to lose anyways.

The whole thread is a joke. As OP, I put this out there to stimulate conversation, not to come up with an answer on the roster.  Ainge HAS TO get a legit NBA center before the season starts.

Melo will start on the Summer league.  Don't think he has what it takes in the regular season.   Sully will play the post the regular season but he is not a strict five.  Oly will play stretch four.  Melo may be in the DL again.

Unless Olynyk is able to demonstrate he belongs (possible... especially during the season), I predict the starting lineup on opening day is going to be:

Randolph
Sullinger
Green
Bradley
Rondo

If Rondo isn't ready, Lee or Brooks is going to step in at 2 and move Avery to the 2. Olynyk's prospect status, (reported) high BB IQ, and rapport with the now-current coach is going to be the key to him moving into the starting lineup.
