Same song and dance. Point guard defends ball(handler) his man passes it off turns around sees Lebron... game over.

If your a point-guard inside the circle there's no point in jumping.

Lol!!West got destroyed. All of them got owned by lebron. Just because you're bigger than someone that doesn't mean you can't own them. On the contrary ,it gives you a greater chance of doing just that lol.

I guess I would expect most celtics fans to have the "Whatever not that good of a dunk" response. Still, there's people all over the world praying for terry after that poster! OWWWE! NASTY!

If green or pierce did that to ANYONE on the heat you guys would have lost your minds lol. Lebron probably stared him down because terry always trash talks lebron. "A well deserved tech" give me a break lol.

Terry being short takes nothing away from that dunk for me. He still got owned plan and simple. Plus because of terrys mouth nobody will cut him slack for it. Nobody but celtics fans. What did you want lebron to do? Not dunk on him because hes taller than terry?  ::)

I has nothing to do with the dunk.  We expect that level from a player like Lebron.  Was the dunk above what what he usually does when he has such a clear path to the basket?

Doing it over a PG sized player doesn't make a huge difference in terms of impressing me.  He made the play that I would expect him to make.

Just like I am not impressed when a monster truck drives over a car.  Sure, it is cool to watch, but it isn't anything impressive anymore.

The dunk didn't "Impress me" per say. It wasn't something I knew lebron wasn't capable of, but it was still nasty and terry got owned. There's no way around it.

By some of you guys definition, no dunk is ever good or impressive unless its on a guy the same height or taller. To me what you guys are doing is "Damage control".

This guy is right. A dunk is like the holy grail of basketball plays. When someone gets to the rim for an emphatic slam, and someone gets in the way to become collateral damage, how does that NOT increase the hype-factor?

Like honestly if Jeff Green knocked Mario Chalmers on his ass on a vicious slam, would anyone here say "Chalmers was making the right play at the right time and thus the he wasn't owned". Of course not.

Damage control is right.....

I never found the "dunk" the ultimate basketball play.

I think the "block" that lead to the "fast break" was the ultimate basketball play.  (The Bill Russell special)

I have never been that "hyped" about a Celtics dunk where I scream about "that guy got owned"

Wow, Pierce dunks fire me up. KG oops fire me up. Even Rondo has had some vicious slams. Jeff Green on big Al? Cmon man, get outta here....

Maybe you've forgotten because all we get lately are uncontested Courtney Lee and AB dunks  ::) Not to say I don't like fast break points, but that isn't what we are discussing

yeah, LeBron, keep punishing those old knees...

I can't believe that moron can get so much praise for things he could do when he was 17, but his improvement over the other areas of the game go almost unnoticed.

That's what BSPN and Stern will do for your brains.

The biggest play last night was the Bosh goaltending not called. Five point swing because it led to the Macario Chalmers 3. Now that's impressive, the Celtics got owned by Stern and Macario Chalmers.

LeBron is subsidized by the refs more than Bird or Jordan ever was by today's league.

Lebron <  Bird or Jordan

My body needs Ray Allen getting posterized by one of our guys in the playoffs (should we meet).

I would most definitely want it to be KG, but that matchup seems unlikely. Jeff Green, PP, or AB would do just fine, followed by a JET three in his face.

And would have liked to see Darko elbowing everyone who ran through the lane for 10mpg, but whatever.

My bad, wrong dunk.  Im refering to the one where he took 3 steps and Bradley called it on him.

You know who got really owned in the pascouple boston Miami games?

Dwayne wade and Norris Cole.

Seriously those AB blocks were spectacular. Would love to see those again and again. Best part is that AB doesn't literally flex his muscles after.

Seriously that AB on Norris Cole is especially ridiculous. It makes it that much better too that he's 6.2 and not 6.8 too

I just dont see what was so great about that dunk... it was an alley-oop and it was Jet jumping to defend him. That's like Shaq dunking on Nate Robbison, I love Shaq but he could do that every night if Nate was willing to give up his body like Jet did. I enjoy more that Jet didn't care who it was, he was tryin to play D instead of being afraid to be dunked on by LeBroid like EVERY other player (besides a small few)!

I know you're probably saying I'm hatin because it's LeBroid, you'd be wrong... I REALLY hate KoMe but I still give cred when he actually does something (like the game where he had like 4 3s in a row or w/e for a comeback win)!

I also give cred when Lebroid does something amazing... this dunk wasn't it. If it wasn't an oop I'd say it was better but it wasn't... Lebroid didn't do anything there but grab and guide the ball in, Jet and Chalmers made that play what it was. I mean, really... Jet isn't anyone to be dunked on by Lebroid, Jet never had a chance at defense in that situation... what, was he suppose to be some deterrent that Lebroid overcame to slam on? Get outta here with that mess!  Broid is so big Jet could been doing that bicycle move that Liu Kang did in Mortal Kombat and he still couldn't bother Broids oop-dunk!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I'm a die-hard Celtics fan, and even I can't agree with your statement.

That dunk was nasty. Haha Terry got owned.

My thoughts exactly lol. That dunk made cringe and cover my eyes and pause the game! It was a reflex instant reaction. I was embarrassed for terry lol.

It would have been more embarressing for JET if he moved out of the way. But, who cares about effort and defense these days, let's just dunk and sell tickets.
When you lose, the easy part is to see who gives up. Giving up is very simple. You basically take your stuff and walk away. To continue to work and to continue to compete is one of the most difficult things, especially when you really don't have anything - KG
