The Lakers/Celtics friction between Magic and Simmons could make for great television.

I think they should just try to find a contrarian, sort of like a smarter Woody Paige, whose job is to outrageously disagree with mainstream opinion and cause as much conflict as possible.
Sadly you just described Steven A Smith and Skip Bayless. Thank god they both have their own show.

I like Skip Bayless.
All I got to say is I agree with Cuban,

The less Broussard, the better.

They need Chris Webber. Lots of Webber.

Yeah Webber is good. What happened with Webber? Seems like we are getting less and less of him.

NBA TV.

I say bring back the Glove!!!!

I LOVE Gary Payton!!!
Only Charles Barkley can match his charisma as a NBA commentator

Really?   Because I think Payton has about as much charisma as concrete.

Payton was as bad as his suits. He needs a better tailor. There is no excuse for guys with that much money and fit physiques having ill-fitting suits.

He's like Charles Barkley-lite. Less mature, but that'll come soon. He's getting there. He probably won't ever match Barkley's charm (his combination of 'I don't give a crap' matched with humor, pulled off in a way he sounds like your buddy talking), but he'll get better at doing this commentator thing, and he'll find a spot somewhere. He's already better than kenny or magic for my money. Kenny's value is great because Charles Barkley is a national freakin treasure, and their chemistry is just absolutely gold.

Peyton was terrible. And Webber with Payton was also terrible.

Webber was great. I didn't feel like Payton added any entertainment value.
