And if Ainge had taken Brooks, then what?  He's getting about 28 minutes a night in NJ.  Would Doc play him that much here?  Hell, no.  Brooks is also averaging over 11 shots a game?  Would he be getting even half as many attempts here?  Again, not a chance.  And does Brooks play any defense at all?  Who knows?

Mike

The way the Celtics are looking in the  scoring area right now, he would get 20-22 minutes. And I disagree about people saying he can't play defense. He's really active on the defensive end. He's a good rebounder for a guard. And oh by the way, he can create offense for himself, something the Celtics NEED right now.

This is a huge mistake. I like JJJ, i just don't like the fact that Brooks could be helping us now. He could end up taking Sasha's and Bradley's minutes the way he's playing and contributing. Instead, we have JaJuan sittng in the bench because he's behind a really gone KG, Bass, Wilcox and now Steimsma.

Just to be clear, in Tony Allen's last three seasons in Boston, he averaged less than 20 minutes a game.  If you think Doc is going to play a rookie more than a veteran like TA...have you been watching the team?
