  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
We are not in any likelihood getting Chris Paul. C'est la vie.

yall wanting gary coleman..

im mean chris paul..

let it go..he has said he wants  no part of us..so why we want him here?

Because it increases our chances to win this year a lot more then Rondo does. I don't think it's honestly about CP3 coming here as much as it is most of us wanting to see another championship with the big three.

well rondo been doin those bounce off the head passin and etc etc at these charity games...

i never seen chrissy poo bounce pass a rock off his head..

Rondo might be a better fit with the Globe Trotters.

Really, what the NBA needs to do is to have Chris Paul tell every team interested if we would sign an extension with them or not...Then they should tell them to give their absolute best offer and just pick the best one. You say that the player can't dictate where he goes, but you can't put a gun to his head (even though the Nets owner has some shady ties) and force him to sign an extension.

The place where you're wrong lakerfan is that it's not in cp3's interests in any financial manner to sign an extension now, anymore than it is in deron williams interests to sign one now.

I believe that Ainge has put more moves on hold for the purpose of taking another shot at Paul once he can trade Green again.

Not sure if he can get Paul, but I imagine it has to be in his mind to try.

With the other teams interested in Paul moving on, the Celtics are in a position to wait and try again later this season.

And yes, a trade for Paul will make this team better.

He has said NO to every single team.

getting an upgrade over JO at the center position will improve the Celtics chance of winning a lot more than an upgrade of CP3 over Rondo minus extra pieces that we have to give up.

Chris Paul is a great talent but he can't play all 5 positions, and he's too short to play defense against the Chris Boshes and Dirk Nowitzkis of the NBA. ;)
