You guys, I used a new conditioner today.  Do you think Chris Paul noticed?

The truth is that new Orleans is in a complete shambles right now. They havent been able to make any trades, and have a total of 6 players or something including Paul at camp at the moment. David west does not count as a trade because he just left as a free agent. They need to get multiple value pieces for Paul right now before the start of the season otherwise they won't be able to field a team, let alone one that's any good.

Doc was complaining he only had 9 or 10 guys a couple of days ago for a proper scrimmage. New Orleans couldn't even field five for one team in a scrimmage.

My point is New Orleans have to do SOMETHING before the season starts.

how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck was chris bosh?

I don't like that deal actually. I want CP3, but I'm not giving up too much. He's an upgrade over Rondo, but we can't gut the team to address something that isn't exactly a weakness.

Losing Green AND JO is a steep price. Getting back an overpaid/underperforming Ariza hurts our cap number next season.

Rondo, Green, a rookie (presumably JJJ), the Clippers pick, and a future first is as far as I'm willing to go. If Green is unavailable, I'd add JO and Moore.

That's 6 pieces (with JO/Moore) for one player. An All-Star, two potential impact players, two mid-late first-round picks, and an expiring contract. Not a bad coup for a guy unwilling to sign long term.

Im really Done with CP3.

HE DOESN'T WANT TO PLAY HERE!

Why trade a very good point gaurd, possible a very good SF. The Clips pick, and two rookies with some up side to them for a guy who will come into a system, try to learn it, may not care if he does, play at half speed so he doesn't get hurt, barely get us out of the first round and then he's off to LA.

We may not have a contending team next year, but they might be fun to watch. Rondo, maybe Green, JJJ, Moore, with Peirce and probably Allen. Could be fun.

And we are also forgetting, yes the free agents look bad for next year, but a lot of guys signed one year contracts. So they could still have a good bench. And then who knows for the season next, things can start turning around.

Rondo, Green, JJJ, Moore, Pierce and Ray will be a fun team....if you think watching teams lose is fun

CP3 doesn't care about our team, this city, or the legacy. He can sign anywhere except here as far as I'm concerned. Hell trade his cripple ass to Portland.
Signed to a 6 year $0 contract with the Celtics Blog forum!

Well, they do have a bit of cap space to work with and there are still quite a few solid free agents available.  They obviously haven't made any because those moves would depend on whether or not they have CP.  They just need to make a decision soon on CP that way they can start moving forward with signings.

sorry - Chris Paul is not worth depleting our team for.  He is not that much better than Rondo talent wise - attitude wise ... well that's another story

Am I the only Celtics fan who doesn't want CP3?? What is wrong with everyone?! We don't need another all-star guard! We need a center for crying out loud! This CP3 talk is really driving me up a wall.

You ever had that one weird girl in your class growing up who had a serious obsession with a guy who thought somehow if she just got a chance to show him how much she loved him, he'd love her back? In reality, he didn't even know she was alive. This is what some C's fans are turning into with CP3.

I don't want CP3 here. Let him go to LA, which by all accounts, is where he wants to be.

It's call unrequited love.........

.... or as the Doobie Brothers song "What a Fool Believes (He Sees)" lyrics say;

"She.... had a place in his life......He... never made her think twice...."

I'm glad most of you are finally coming to the realization that I came to long ago; namely, we don't need Chris Paul on this team.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Because it increases our chances to win this year a lot more then Rondo does. I don't think it's honestly about CP3 coming here as much as it is most of us wanting to see another championship with the big three.
