Sign and trade Jeff Green for Pietrus and Robin Lopez! I don't care what the salaries are, use black magic if you have to.

Pretty sure Ainge refrains from using black magic on religious grounds.

But I think he does it on business grounds

This strikes me as making a bad situation worse.

I like Pietrus but for who can 'really defend' he doesn't ever seemed to be matched up against a teams strongest perimeter player.

Pietrus and Gortat for Green(6m),Davis(4m),Bradley and picks

Looking at Phoenix and what they're doing, they're playing rebuilding mode and holding onto Nash. Green and Davis both would compliment their system as Davis could play C but still chuck up jumpers

For Boston, we get a better version of Perkins back in Gortat, and a 6th man willing to play D against the best player and take open shots.

Rondo, West
Ray, Wafer, Moore
Pierce, Pietrus, Gil
KG, JuJohnson
Gortat, JO, Murphy

And we'd still have the MLE(if it exists) to use on a better SG such as JR Smith or Jamal Crawford.
Can't stop, Rondo!
