Quite honestly I see the Clippers trading Chris Kaman's expiring contract and keeping Jordan. They are building a team around Griffin with youth and they know they are a couple years away. They have Griffin, Gordon, Bledsoe, Aminu and Mo Williams all locked up for a while and Jordan fits in quite well with the youth movement while Kaman just gets in Griffin's way and takes up bunches of salary cap. he's gone and thinking Jordan is going elsewhere is a pipe dream, IMHO.
I'd offer the same package for Kaveman, for the simple reason that he expires the same year as dwight howard.

that and he's as serviceable a center as any we could acquire this summer.

No way we have enough money to sign him.

Also mentioned Jordan in a previous thread. There is some question about his true market value.  But LAC traded their #1 and the $2 million to $3 million salary-cap hold in the Baron Davis trade so they could match offers for him. So the biannual may not suffice and that means the only option would be a S/T for BB or Kristic. That's probably overpaying, but can you go into next season with Kristic and JO as your centers?

He is a restricted free agent this year. He is an athletic freak and really long and strong. He is a Tyson Chandler in the making and he would get so many easy points from Rondo on alley oops.

We would likely have to work out a trade for him, maybe Jeff Green and a pick?

LAC need a SF so Green would fit in there , but probably a pipe dream huh?

I remember during the game this year when Jordan scored 20 + against us and had like 10 dunks, Mike Gorman said the C's organization really like this deandre Jordan kid
He's also the worst free throw shooter in the NBA, and makes Perkins look like Wilt Chamberlain on the offensive end.

I think he's better offensively than Perk because he can actually finish strong around the rim. He catches alleys and doesn't dribble under the basket, two things Perk struggled with.
