He is a restricted free agent this year. He is an athletic freak and really long and strong. He is a Tyson Chandler in the making and he would get so many easy points from Rondo on alley oops.

We would likely have to work out a trade for him, maybe Jeff Green and a pick?

LAC need a SF so Green would fit in there , but probably a pipe dream huh?

I remember during the game this year when Jordan scored 20 + against us and had like 10 dunks, Mike Gorman said the C's organization really like this deandre Jordan kid

just posted this in another thread. Would we really have to give up anything if we signed him to an offer sheet?

Well, we had a chance to draft him and picked JR Giddens instead.

we'd probably have to trade Jeff Green to get him...not sure how else we could get him in here.

He's also the worst free throw shooter in the NBA, and makes Perkins look like Wilt Chamberlain on the offensive end.

15 teams may come coming calling, but how many will be true contenders. I can't see the Clips resigning him due to the fact that Griffin will demand a huge contract down the line as will Gordon.

Not ready to give up on Jeff Green, and not sold on Jordan. The guy shoots 41% from the 3 point line and has just about no offensive game

I can guarantee you that Baby would not be a happy camper playing behind Blake Griffin and the Clippers know this

I posted this a few days ago and completely agree....

As I posted something last year (and someone earlier posted in this thread), Deandre Jordan.  We actually had a chance to draft him a couple of years ago but didn't.  We should have made a run for him before he blew up this year while they had Chris "the great white hope" Kaman pegged as their starter.  He would be a perfect, big body, athletic, long type of player that Rondo could set up for 5 alleyoops a game.  They need a small forward, give them Green and Baby or whoever.  Just go get him.  Perfect for Rondo moving forward.

I don't see how trading Jeff Green would get us him cause both of these guys are restricted free agents. We can sign them both to offer sheets, we can offer Green more and can match another teams offer but with Deandre we can only offer him MLE over multiple years.

  • Rondo = Good
DeAndre isn't a good enough offensive player to make a difference.  He couldn't take the burden off the Big 3.

If we could somehow get Nene and put him next to the starters, then we'd be in business.  What we need is a young center who can rebound and score 15+ points a night.  Unfortunately I don't see how that's possible.
