  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
There was a time when I would have jumped on this thread and commiserated with everyone here, that time was last night... and that time has passed. The Celtics will win this series in seven games, thank them when they retire, when they choose to go out on their own terms. This team does not and will not quit.

You guys really think they're going to retire after this season?  ???

Or that Danny is going to blow the team up which means their going away?  ???

They probably won't, but next season will be a short one and the Celtics will be clearly in a class below the rising superpowers (Miami, Chicago, Oklahoma City, etc).  If Danny is smart (assuming the lockout doesn't completely prevent him from doing so), he should look to start the rebuilding process this summer, starting with trying to get as much value as possible in return for Rondo and Jeff Green.

That would break my heart if Danny traded Rondo. Perk, took me a while to get over it, but fine. But Rondo? He's a big part of our future. Maybe not THE future, but he's going to play a big role in it.

We all know Rondo's confusing and stubborn as hell.. but I think I speak for (almost) everyone when I say that I love having the guy as a Celtic, championship or not this year.
