When I said imporved his stock, I'm not talking about a "Trevor Ariza" improvement. Nate has always been a player who can come off the bench and give you 20 points on any given night. The guy can score. He came into a new situation in Boston, adjusted to a new style of play and was effective. Yes, it took him longer than expected but he proved that he could play defense (ask Jameer Nelson) and play unselfishly. From the way we used him in the playoffs, he doesn't deserve 4 mil, but he showed he is more versatile than people thought. I fully expect him to play bigger minutes with a full offseason with the Celtics and be worth 4 mil.
