I am hoping that game four of the Orlando series proves to be the biggest greatest lesson for our 2010 Boston Celtics this year.
Because when you are up 3-0 and you have a chance to close out the series, AT HOME, TO GO TO THE FINALS, you do not lose game four on your onw court. Losing a game like that just opens up a whole can or worms, which we clearly saw with baby going down, Marquis going down, KG and Pierce getting hammered more, etc.
If I'm Doc?
1. I want to see bodies on the floor, heads flying and our guys diving head long after everything. I want to see soem real smash mouth basketball. This isn't about talent now, it's about mental toughness to take each game, one by one.
2. Focus, execution, work, work, work, work.
3. I want to see game seven intensity for every minute of each of the next three games. If you're tired I'll get you some rest.
4. I want a war, a blood bath on the court.
5. I want three games of hell in a jungle for the Lakers.
You don't get chacnes like this very often. Three games at home to raise an NBA championship banner. #18. You need to go out take it from them every minute of each of the next three games. This is it for #18 and your legacy; earn it every minute, take it and raise it!
I am hoping these guys learned very well the lesson of not closing out Orlando in game four of the conference finals. This is the exact same situaiton, just with more at stake.
#18 is there, how badly do they want it?
