Boston.

co-sign

Beat me too it.

Why would you ever want this guy on the celtics? He's a self centered, prima donna. Every winning celtics team has been about character, toughness, and discipline. LeBron has none of that (well maybe discipline)

If he were ever to put on a Boston uniform, i'd puke uncontrollably.

is he a prima donna, yes.....BUT, he is also the best bball player in the world, is young, and has the NBA and its officials in his back pocket.....we would get phantom calls in our favor all the time :)
That is the best point I've read here about reasons we should put our hate of him aside for the good of the C's.

Yeah, and I'm not sure how any other fanbases thought the KG/Pierce/Perk C's were about "Character." I'm guessing there were many "hater" terms thrown around. I'm guessing we would come to love Lebron pretty quickly if he wore green.

i don't want LeBron here because i am biased, i don't want him here because i strongly dislike him as a human being. I don't know how much clearer i can make that.

Kind of cool that you know the guy personally. Tell us all about your interactions with him. I'm sure you have some awesome stories.

1. that wasn't funny.

2. don't peg me as a "hater" just because i judge lebron based on his actions....and i'm sure everyone here is so excited to meet kobe bryant and see what he is really like!! No...

I dont think anyone here would go so far as to say they strongly dislike Kobe as a human being. We also have some more insight to Kobe's personal life (Colorado) and the public has forgiven him. I would take him on the Celtics in a second even though I sports hate him for playing on my least favorite team.
I strongly dislike Kobe as a human being. He is a hell of a basketball player but his cocky attitude really makes him seem like a jerk (see Phil Jackson's book and the Spike Lee documentary about him that aired last year).

I strongly peronally dislike anyone who rapes a person and just pays to make it go away.

Why would anybody care what a racist jerk like spike lee says about anybody?

Whoever gets the messiah is going to try to find a Pippen for him for the length of his contract.  The messiah is too selfish a player for it to work.

He'll probably be in a ton of Finals and never win a championship no matter where he ends up.

Just wanted to throw this out here seeing all of the hate on LeBron, calling him arrogant, self centered, etc. I was at the Cavs vs. Celtics game last year where they plastered up by about 40, I had courtside seats essentially, the only thing in front of me was the Cavs bench. I, of course, was decked out in Celtics attire and was yelling crap the whole game but I actually had the chance to actually have a conversation with the guy after the game and he was nothing but an exemplary person. He was honestly one of the nicest people that I have ever met, I realize that not everyone can have this opportunity but I just think the nay sayers should hold their judgement. Completely changed my viewpoint of the guy. That being said I hope he stays in Cleveland, I live in Strongsville right now (about 20 miles south of Cleveland) and I've seen everything he's done for this town, and they need him.
CB Draft - New York Knicks
PG: George Hill / Nate Robinson
SG: Dwyane Wade / Gerald Henderson / Christian Eyenga
SF:  Grant Hill / Paul George / Earl Clark
PF:  Kenyon Martin / Jordan Hill / (Earl Clark)
C:   Greg Oden / Kurt Thomas / Hilton Armstong

C'mon now..only a few folks would like him in Boston?

I would...yeah the guy is hated, but only as a Rival, in my opinion. He does appear to be to be a genuinely good fellow.

Not a perfect fellow, but I'd like him here....

Imagine Rondo-Perk-Lebron (After our Current Edition of the Big Three)?

If not Boston, I'd rather he stay in CLE. They need him..if he was smart he'd stay there, too. It appears that that organization has always bent over backwards to get him players to compliment him. I couldn't see any other organization (besides Boston) doing that for him.

If he went to New York, I couldn't see them giving him the same kind of love. Yeah it would be all good initially for him, but if he couldn't elevate them to Championship Status he may receive the same treatment that Ewing received there in his latter years. I'd hate for that to happen to the man.

LeBrick Jay-miss?? Aww hell naw :p

Lol, but in all seriousness it might be best for LeBron to try and tough it out in Cleveland - as far-fetched as the idea of the Cavs winning an NBA championship (the same 7 teams have won the NBA championship each year for the past 20+ years) before acquiring a LeBron level player, it seems like they may only be a trade away from making another legitimate run at what would be their first title.

If he leaves the Cavs after this season, the best place for him to go would likely be the Miami Heat, seeing that Dwayne Wade won a championship with Shaq before Shaq 'deserted' him and went to play with Steve Nash and the Suns. This might be the reason why the Cavs are trying to get Amare Stoudamire, seeing that Shaq is more of a half-court styled center and had trouble meshing with Steve Nash's fastbreak transitional offense. Worse case scenario is if he leaves Cleveland and takes the Allen Iverson route and ends up being traded back to his hometown later in his career with diminished ability due to age.

Either way it would be difficult for the Cavs to win a Championship this season if they end up playing the Magic, Celtics, and potentially the Lakers in the Finals - only the Celtics have been able to beat the Lakers after beating the other two so-called 'elite' teams in the East (as you saw last season, the Magic only took 1 game off of the Lakers in the Finals, and the last time the Cavs made it to the finals they lost in 4 games).

Wouldn't mind him being traded to Boston, though I doubt we'd be able to keep all members of the 'Big 3' if we did...just saying =/

tough it out in cleveland? making 20 million a year isn't exactly "toughing it out"
