Yeah ... I hope he recovers quickly, as well ... I don't want any "Well, our team wasn't at full strength" excuses when we kick their gold and purple butts this year!

Lakers' Pau Gasol may have small tear in his hamstring
November 2, 2009 |  1:21 pm
Lakers forward Pau Gasol underwent a sonogram that showed a possible tear in his right hamstring, and he is not expected to play on the team's upcoming two-game road trip, the team said.

Gasol also had a more complex MRI exam today on his hamstring, and those results will be known by Tuesday.

Gasol is traveling with the Lakers for their games in Oklahoma City on Tuesday and in Houston on Wednesday but will not play. "We don’t expect him to play on this trip," Lakers spokesman John Black said.

Gasol, a two-time All-Star, has missed all three of the Lakers' regular season games and their last six exhibition games.

Injuries to star players in the league totally bum me out. I like when all teams are playing at their best and strongest.

obviously, injuries to Cs players are  worse, but in relation to the Lakeshow, I want to Cs to face them in the Finals with all guns blazing....

I think the long season he had plus the Eurobasket in Poland resulted in too many games for any NBA body. I think this will mean that next summer the Lakers won't let him play for Spain.
