I think the beatles could easily be remembered as the names of Handel, Brahms, Bach, Mozart, and Bethoven are thrown around.

My problem with that is that the Beatles are being supported by the whole Baby Boomer/Gen-X with all the nostalgia and such. In a century, when this conglomerate of 2 to 3 generations are gone, and assuming that rock 'n roll persists as an art form, it'll be a type of starting point in the music history class along with Elvis, whereas if there's some musical paradigm shift band of let's say 2175 AD, it may change the face of rock 'n roll forever and they'll sort of be casted as the Mozart of the times.

For those who follow the Song of Ice and Fire books, Brett Favre will have changed his name to Lord Beric Dondarrion by then.

As long as Tyrion can have a job as a kicker, I'm all for the move.  ;)
