I've just watched Celtics game @ Lakers, the one with 33 p from Pierce (from this season of course)

what a game by Celts ... we controlled the game all the way, we were so confident (Lakers with Bynum, we without Rondo)

And today, they have swept Nuggets, and we are worried about getting past Hawks...

What is interesting about that game:
Tony Allen played 42 min. -> Bryant - 22 points FGM-A 6-25
Ray Allen 28 min.

I just watched a video of the easter bunny terrorizing people (its posted on the bunnies topic good stuff)

What was most interesting was

Easter Bunny - terrorized
Others - terrified
Me - Laughing myself silly

I just read thread 'Enough!'

Most interesting was

cdif911 tries to be funny

My analysis

He is really bored

I wish I could give the OP 1000 TPs.  Hopefully this thread plus the "Pity Party's Over" article will get us fans focused.  What's in the past is in the past, we've all gotta move on to the present.  That is the biggest game of the year tomorrow night, let's be focused and positive for it.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

as mind-bogglingly frustrating as games 3 and 4 have been, as horrible as we have played, as bad as the refs have been, and as out-of-their-minds good as the hawks have played, we still had control of both games late, and didn't exactly get blown out. we've struggled against teams with multiple good athletic wings, which is atlanta's strength. i bet in game 5 we see tony allen play a lot more (20+ minutes, i hope) in order to slow down joe johnson. do we lose some offense? sure. but as long as ray plays 25-30 minutes, we'll be fine. plus, i'm going to assume the home-court ref advantage atlanta had will disappear in boston i.e. they'll get called for their hacks when we go inside, and our guys won't get called for touch fouls. that'll make a huge difference, too. josh smith is a great shot blocker, but i don't know if any of his blocks in game 4 were clean...waaaay too much contact that the refs let slide. and honestly, the reason this series is so chippy is that the refs have let the hawks get away with a lot of crap. we'll come out sharp in game 5.

well, we expect MORE out of a 66-win team...we're losing to an inferior team that barely got into the playoffs in a weak eastern conference.  and, they're playing, it seems, with more heart and physicality than we are.  it's embarrassing...

i had a thread not long ago called "earn my trust."  my fear was that this team would hit the panic button if they got challenged in the playoffs.  we don't have much a history with this team...we have no idea how idea how they play in the playoffs under duress.  if you can't win on the road in the playoffs you'll be playing game 7's each round...and then the pressure starts to build on the home team because the opponent knows they have nothing to lose.

someone has to step up and put an end to this nonsense...and doc needs to make the proper adjustments - he FAILED to do so as joe johnson punished us and his answer was to that was ray allen.  everyone needs to step it up (players and coaches) or this could be a monumental failure.

this is reality...maybe that's hard for some to stomach and you'd prefer this would go away, but there's a little something called "accountability" and that what some of these forums are questioning right now.

No one is denying reality, we just would like to stop dwelling on the past, and move on.

It's a new series.  It is 0-0.

Let us have our thread!

It will be interesting to see if Doc can get these guys calmed down and re-focused for the next couple of games. He could use a positive attitude and support from the veterans to level these guys out.

I am just ecstatic that we did not lose Perk to suspension. That would have been painful. It has to be a sign of good things to come, doesnt it? 8)
