Would love to get Gordon back as the wing off the bench with Sam

Hayward pouted his way off a contender and didn?t score In the playoffs for the Thunder I don?t think. Not sure he is In league next year

His wife made a big deal out of it too. I don?t think Hayward is ready to accept a very limited role.

He left us for Charlotte. Charlotte! And now he's failed again in OKC. I don't want that bum anywhere near the Celtics.

He left us for money, and we were right to let him go because he wasnt worth it (and we put the money to better use). For a vet min, though, he'd absolutely be worth it
I'm bitter.

I'm not sure if the Sixers are bringing any of these guys back. Harris, Hield, Batum, and Oubre would all be great on vet mins.

Tobias Harris
Buddy Hield
Nicolas Batum
Robert Covington
De'Anthony Melton
Kyle Lowry
Kelly Oubre
Mo Bamba
Kenyon Martin Jr.
Cameron Payne
Terquavion Smith

lol Harris is looking for a contract around the $30m range with Detroit?he?s not going to sign for a vet min  :P

In fact I?m guessing none of those 4 guys you mentioned sign for vet mins?nice to dream though  :police:

Oubre got vet min last year and I think Batum might if he wants to go for a ring.

That?s because nobody wanted him?Philly are apparently planning to bring back Batum and Oubre, if nothing else to have tradable contracts in their roster since they only have 4 players on the books for next season. According to Libertyballers Oubre might sign for the $8m room MLE this season then sign a 4 year $60m contract next offseason. While Batum is expected to sign a multi year contract in the $10m range.

As for Hield, according to PhillyVoice Philly want to re sign him but he has a lot of interest from the T wolves, Magic, Nuggets, Suns and Bucks so he might go for more than the vet min.

Let?s hope the allure of a ring encourages them to turn those millions down so we can get them on the cheap  :police:

If Philly signs some max guys and give Maxy the max they might not have anything more than vet mins...

Unfortunately pass on Hayward, like to have someone who plays great defense & don?t worry bout injuries..i say Indiana or Utah for him
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Jay Huff could be a potential Kornet replacement at the vet minimum.  He does Kornet things, but adds a nice shooting touch from three.

Of course, maybe Kornet could do this too, but the coaches didn't allow him?

He could even replace Svi if you want a 15th man with some potential.

Huff can also pump-fake and drive:

Yeah, I would like Hayward in theory, but he fell off a cliff, particularly defensively, the past couple of seasons. Add to that his complaints about playing time on a contender in OKC and the comments his wife had about living in Boston and it is a definite no.

Never heard of this guy, but I like the highlights. Checked his pedigree too. Went to Virginia. Good shooting stats there. Good advanced stats.

He's one of hte more interesting options I've seen. I love doubling down on size too.

At UVa he was one rebound shy of a triple-double in an upset of Duke.

Kornet is a little more solidly built at 250lbs compared to Huff's 240lbs (both are 7'1").

But Huff will be cheaper (seriously, vet min), has been an excellent shooter since he stepped on Grounds at UVa, and plays fundamental UVa defense.

While Huff looks the part of Kornet, he's actually closer to Horford in style.  He moves his feet better on defense than Kornet, and he can play the 5-out ball that Mazzula likes, able to hit the three from all spots on the floor.

Plus, he and Hauser were teammates for two years.

looking sportrac yesterday. Guys I can see available for the min.

Bigs
Theis
Saric
Thomas Byrant
Bamba

Wings
Bertens
Dougie Mcbuckets
Josh Richardson
Lonnie Walker
Marcus Morris

Guards
Aaron Holiday
Kris Dunn
Delon Wright

I would try to add a big and a wing, I believe they were after Richardson and Bryant last year but they choose Miami last year, I like lonnie walker, he shot well from 3 last year.

What if trade Pritchard for Kenrich Williams and a 2nd.

Then trade Springer and 2nds for Aldama? Or a protected first?

Beefs up frontcourt bench.  Then go after a couple guards off the above list to replace PP and Springer.

I wish we hadn?t given up on Mo Wagner so quickly. I?m not sure why he didn?t get more of a chance here, but now he?s settled in with the Magic and playing himself out of our price range.

Kornet outplayed Wagner when he was here. It's why Kornet already have a ring with the Celtics and Wagner is playing on a borderline playoff team.

KP
Kornet or Tillman
Queta
Horford
Aldama
Kenrich
Brissett
Tatum
Hauser
Walsh
Brown
A. Holiday
J. Holiday
Dunn
White

Pretty light on guards, would want at least one more guard on a 2-way.
