Clips are down 2-0, so let’s hope for the sweep and Kawhi will become a real option this summer. Picture being Kawhi: Where’s the most sure-fire Big 3 you can join in the East and attempt to win 5-6 titles in a row (because there’s no way he’s staying in the West, just like Harden had to go East)? The answer is obviously Boston with Stevens, Tatum and Brown. If you’re the Clips, Kawhi demands out and you can get Boston’s 2021 1st, 2023 1st, 2025 1st, and Kemba, you’re going to take it considering your next first round pick is in 2027 (!!!). If you’re Kawhi, where else can you build your own dynasty to put yourself up there with LeBron? And what franchise better opposes LeBron’s Lakers? It’s definitely not happening in LA or NY. Miami and here are the only options. If you’re the Clippers, you’d rather see him drive the Lakers nuts by going to the Celtics.
That could be outbid quite quickly I imagine.

The Warriors offering Wiggins, Wiseman and picks would be both epic and terrifying

One of the rules of trading disgruntled superstars: Thou shall always send them to the other conference (so they can only embarrass you on your home court at most once per season)
Like Paul George and Anthony Davis?

PG-13 is not a superstar (and talk about an overpay by the Clips),  and we all know what the AD shakedown was.
Paul George was an MVP candidate at OKC before the trade and before his shoulders collapsed at LA.
