It appears Indy really screwed the pooch with PG13. This is a better offer than the C's in a deep draft.

It's unlikely any of these massive trade offers that were turned down were actually made.  It's far more likely this is GM's doing damage control attempting to not look incompetent for missing out on yet another golden opportunity.

Regardless of the validity of these after the fact reports, it's easy to imagine any number of NBA teams making a better offer for George.

One plausible explanation is that Indiana values Sabonis and Oladipo higher than we do - if they regard these players as potentially above avg starters, then taking OKC's offer makes sense.
