Including the Brooklyn Nets pick in 2017 that turned into the number one overall pick. Can you imagine how funny these negotiations are between grown men.

Ainge could have losing his job if George would have walked out after for first round picks if this report is true we're really lucky they turned it down.

Who's to say that Ainge can't still make the same deal with OKC for PG13?

OKC got rid of a big contract in Oladipo. They run the risk of losing PG13 and Westbrook.

Why not make an offer to OKC for players and picks. OKC and Boston have made deals before.

How would Westbrook react to that, do you think?

Maybe we're trading for BOTH OF THEM?!  ;)

We'll be in EC finals once more and maybe steal Cavs 1 game more than last year.

I don't believe it either. These "insiders" have no downside to report misinformation, as the GM's won't support/deny their claims.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

OKC got a double win in that trade.  They dumped Oladipo's huge contract, and they added a star to play with Westbrook and maybe convince him to re-up next season!

Indiana gets back... a role player in Sabonis, and a starting level but fairly average Oladipo on an 84m dollar contract!  Looks like a bust of a trade for them.  Crowder would have been a much better piece in return than Oladipo, better contract, and better player.

Oh and the Pacers don't even get any draft picks.  Indy got FLEECED!

Hopefully Oladipo fails his physical so the deal falls through.

Scenario at the deadline is a bit different than that, you would've had him essentially for 2 years. This year's Playoff run (which I remind you, we got to the ECF), and next season.

Not saying this was good or not, just saying the scenario you're painting is not all that accurate.

Ordinarily, I would think this is total baloney (at least I hope it was). Then again, Danny offered a cartload of draft picks for Justise Winslow.

If this was the case, in the future, the owners really need to have the GUTS to say, "go jump in the lake Danny....we are not idiots!!!"

Can't blame him for not trying.
