I just cant get over Fults W-L record.  For me it was always the big purple elephant in the room.

I know he had inferior teammates and wasnt in a competative program, but c'mon, can anyone name a highly touted college player that couldnt get his team into the NCAA tournament that WASNT a bust??  His team was terrible but they even played bad against other terrible teams.  Steph Curry carried Davidson for christ sake, no ones saying Fults needs to be Steph, but its a little alarming he get couldnt will his team into the tournament

Couldn't get his team to the tournament is the understatement of the year - Washington won 9 games. To put this into perspective, last year's #1 Ben Simmons also couldn't get his team to the tournament (another team devoid of talent), but was able to win 18 games (twice as many!) and actually finished with a winning record.

This is not to say that Fultz won't have a successful NBA career, but going 9-23 in college cannot be ignored.

Ok so I forgot about Simmons, but its yet to be determined if he underachieves for busts at the next level.

Can anyone name an NBA star that could not get his team to the NCAA tournament in college??

so i did some research and there are some NBA stars that couldnt get to the tournament.

Paul Milsap, Paul George, Damien Lillard, Klay Thompson.

Thats surprising.  Still cant say it wouldnt worry me.

Is danny going to float random reasons he didn't like Fultz daily until he thinks the fans buy into it?
This makes no sense at all.  Danny didn't HAVE to make this move.  He wasn't backed into a corner by a player that didn't want to be here.

This was a proactive, calculated decision.  And now we get reasons and don't believe them?

Paul George was on some bad teams in college.
