"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

I'm genuinely curious as to what those who complain about our team's inability to win anything of consequence this year are going to say when we go all-in and still can't win jack.

East is just so weak right now. With Butler or PG AND Hayward, we'd probably be favorites vs Cavs with a solid 30% chance vs GSW. I mean the Cavs should have won at least 2 games vs GSW, and if we can beat the Cavs we would probably give ourselves at least 2 or 3 games vs the Warriors.

I can see the logic of capitalizing on a weak East and then worrying about Warriors when we get there.

i think you are on to something. i think DA said the hell with it. east is super weak...let's get enough to get by the cavs withina couple years BUT still keep some picks for the future like brown, etc.
LET'S GO CELTICS!
