Now imagine that the C's got the #2 pick and selected Ingram and LA got #3 and picked Brown.

Assuming identical stats, how would we be spinning our pick?  If our 19 yo 6'9" string bean is scoring putting up 8 and 4 now, just wait till he breaks 200 lbs!!

I honestly think Danny drafts Brown at #2 also

At #1 I'm not sure what he would have done...Simmons is not a CBS type player

Yup I think so too. Apparently Brown was number 2 on Ainge's board according to Blakely during the draft.

Then he should have traded down with the Lakers for a future protected first. Capitalize every little asset, man  8)

On my personal list it was Simmons and Brown, Ingram was intriguing because of his height, shooting abilities and quickness, I actually agreed with people with the Durant comparison. But I liked Brown a lot more, I felt his IQ and maturity will help with his development

I am unsure if the scenario is to be revered if we would see similar results, or would Ingram develop quicker? or the same under CBS vs Walton and also Brown under Walton vs CBS

Too soon to say how they will pan out, especially Ingram. Seems like Brown on his way. If Lakers get Ball, can see Ingeam's game really taking off in the next couple years, kind of like Worthy benefiting from Magic.

I like Jaylen, but he really is late on defensive rotations sometimes.
But I think he will be an allstar in the future.
