This isn't our window and I don't see any trade we can make to change that. Really the most likely result is making a misguided run at a window that doesn't exist and ruining our chance of a window in the next generation that could exist if we get lucky with the picks.
Haha, so let me get the timeline straight.
First you think Rondo sucks and we need to trade him/tank so we can get one of 5-6 future superstars in the draft.
Celtics don't tank, but end up with good teams year after year, and good picks despite your claims that BKN is going to win a lot of games and we still have to tank. As a result, you change your position and decide Boston might have a future.
Boston brings in stars their own way with IT and Horford, and grab potential stars Smart and Brown in the draft, but since we missed out on Embiid, Okafor, and Simmons, you begin hyping the Sixers instead and trying to prove that they're rebuilding the right way and we aren't.
And years later you still haven't found anyone dumb enough to convince that the Sixers are smarter than us so....
Now you're full circle and back to saying the Celtics have no chance of ever winning and need to go back to wishing for lottery balls.
Why come to a Celtics blog just to talk about how they shouldn't ever be trying to win games?
